Deaths - Death of Louis Peyron
Dear members,
It is with great sadness that the Société Française des Parfumeurs informs you of the death of Monsieur Louis Peyron, a long-standing member of the SFP.
Mr. Louis Peyron was President of the Société Française des Parfumeurs from 1969 to 1972.
Lively, energetic and full of humor, he shared with Jean Garnero in the 60s the research of Laboratoires Antoine Chiris on essences of lavender, lavandin, clary sage in particular, on the trail of new molecules, methyl jasmonate. For several years, he also hosted the Congrès des Huiles Essentiels in Digne-les-Bains.
He died on January 17, aged 97.
The Société Française des Parfumeurs offers its most sincere condolences to the family of Monsieur Louis Peyron.
